Was Donald Trump’s 2nd Amendment comment incitement?
Trump, a NY real estate developer, has refused to release his tax returns and said he was unlikely to do so before the November 8 presidential election. Clinton said the remark was a “casual inciting of violence” that shows Trump lacks the temperament to be commander in chief.

Hillary Clinton sought to pressure Donald Trump Friday when she released her latest tax returns – something many people, including prominent Republicans, have been calling on him to do since his campaign began. “Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know”, he said.
Mr Trump sparked backlash after suggesting “Second Amendment people”, or gun owners, could take action against her.
“Words can have tremendous consequences”, Mrs Clinton said.
The Democratic presidential candidate, who frequently boasts about her many policy plans, isn’t expected to introduce any major new ideas to improve the country’s economy in her afternoon address.
In an interview with the public radio program Texas Standard, Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine said, “There is absolutely no place, there should be no place in our politics for somebody who wants to be a leader to say something even in an offhand way that is connected to inciting violence”.
The Secret Service has stated publically that it was aware of Mr Trump’s comments.
During Clinton’s speech in Iowa, one person was intercepted by security agents guarding her when that individual tried to get onto the stage with her.
Trump’s campaign have insisted that he meant that the gun lobby could vote as a bloc to keep out Ms Clinton.
Clinton responded to Trump’s comments on Wednesday accusing him of suggesting violence.
In fact, the most recent survey, by Fairleigh Dickinson University’s PublicMind, gave Clinton her largest lead of the campaign, 21 points.
Republican House Leader Paul Ryan told reporters Tuesday he had heard about Trump’s comment and that it sounded like a “joke gone bad”.
“Second Amendment people have unbelievable spirit and are tremendously unified, which gives them great political power”, senior Trump communications adviser Jason Miller said.
“Donald Trump is hiding behind fake excuses and backtracking on his previous promises”, said Jennifer Palmieri, communications director for the Clinton campaign. “Sorry Donald if you’re watching”, said Clinton.
But another federal official told Reuters Wednesday that the Secret Service had not had formal conversations with the Republican nominee about his comments.
