Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has banned almost a dozen news organizations whose coverage displease him, the Post reported, but reporters have generally been allowed to cover his events by going through general admission lines. Cell phones are not on the list. This required them asking the assistance of two officers, sheriff’s deputies, to pat DelReal down in search of the phone he did not have on him.
“At a time when more than seven out of 10 American’s believe our country is on the wrong track, we have a president who stand up and says that we’re already great”, Pence said. “You have to go, ‘” DelReal told the Post.

Trump has a distressed relationship with the media as he has revoked more than a dozen press credentials from reporters from his campaign events, Politico reported. “All of this took place in a public facility no less”, the Post’s executive editor, Marty Baron, said. The harassment of an independent press isn’t coming to an end.
In a statement, Pence spokesman Marc Lotter said: “Our events are open to everyone and we are looking into the alleged incident”.
The Post said Pence’s staff apologized for that treatment, with an unnamed official blaming the episode on “overzealous campaign volunteers”.

“This is not our policy”, the official told the Post.
