The Tinu Desai-directed film, which releases this Friday will have a box office clash with Hrithik Roshan-starrer “Mohenjo Daro“, but for Akshay it is not something which bothers him as it’s a long weekend and he hopes both the film will do well.

Even Bollywood fellow mates of Akshay Kumar are promoting his film which unfolds the controversial story of Navy officer.

However, taking it to a serious note, the “Airlift” actor said the subject of the film will be loved by women and will save marriages and also stop divorces. “It’s just that I have a medium of films to convey it and I take advantage of that”, he said. So I have a lot of Parsi friends and I know people from the community.

When asked what one thing he would like to take back from the film, he said, “I am going to take my uniform”.

Expressing gratitude over this gesture, Akshay said, “It’s great when the industry supports you and I’m very thankful to Salman for starting this”.

Akshay Kumar’s Rustom is set to release on August 12.
