Wasserman Schultz Rigged the System

Wasserman Schultz announced her resignation from the DNC on Sunday, the day before the national convention began in Philadelphia. Now, Wasserman Schultz is on her way out, after the publication of emails that suggest Democratic officials favored Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders during the nominating contests.

Sanders, who is scheduled to speak Monday night at the convention, posted a statement on Twitter saying Wasserman Schultz had “made the right decision for the future of the Democratic Party” by resigning.

Last week, the Republican Party strove to find and project unity, despite the continuing reluctance of some states and former presidential candidates to fall in line behind Donald Trump.

“How about that for disloyalty in terms of Hillary Clinton”. Sanders’ supporters say they are concerned that Kaine is not progressive enough. “Would I have preferred to see somebody like an Elizabeth Warren selected by Secretary Clinton Yes, I would have”, he said.

“I think that combined with Debbie Wasserman Shulz’ resignation as DNC chair is about all that I think any Bernie Sanders supporter could ask for”. Yet Wasserman Schultz recently proved a divisive leader, with the Sanders camp and its supporters concerned the DNC was angling for a Clinton nomination.

She added: “Going forward, the best way for me to accomplish those goals is to step down as Party Chair at the end of this convention”. Other speakers included President Barack Obama’s wife, Michelle Obama.

The tensions reached fever pitch in May, when Wasserman Schultz openly criticized the Vermont senator’s response to a chaotic scene involving Sanders supporters in Nevada and even compared the situation to a “Trump rally”. “Yes, I would have”, Sanders told NBC’s “Meet the Press”.

“What’s disturbing to us is that experts are telling us that Russian state actors broke into the DNC, stole these emails and other experts are now saying that Russians are releasing these emails for the objective of helping Donald Trump”, Clinton campaign chairman Robby Mook said on CNN’s “State of the Union”. It was there Wasserman Schultz earned her reputation as a workhorse and outspoken liberal willing to spar with Republicans on television.

At the Republican convention, Trump cast himself as the law-and-order candidate in a nation suffering under crime and hobbled by immigration, sticking to the gloom-and-doom theme. On Sunday, July 24, 2016, Wasserman Schultz announced she would step…

“While she deserves thanks for her years of service, the party now needs new leadership that will open the doors of the party and welcome in working people and young people”, Sanders said in the statement.

Kenny Madden, a Sanders delegate from Kentucky, said he doesn’t “think there can be anything Bernie can say that will bring people together”.

Wasserman Schultz had already effectively lost control of the DNC after Clinton’s campaign inserted operative Brandon Davis to run operations on a day-to-day basis.

In the wake of the email leak, Democratic Party officials are negotiating to significantly downgrade the public role of Wasserman Schultz at the convention, according to a top Democratic Party source.

Since turning his attention away from his Republican presidential primary opponents and toward Clinton, Trump has labeled the presumptive Democratic nominee “crooked Hillary”.

“We know that the voices in this room that are standing up and being disruptive – we know that that’s not the Florida we know”, she told the crowd.

Trump dismissed the suggestion in a tweet: “The joke in town is that Russian Federation leaked the disastrous DNC emails, which should never have been written (stupid), because Putin likes me”.
