Wasserman Schultz sees GOP convention as helpful to Democrats
Debbie Wasserman Schultz, chairwoman on the Democratic National Committee, stood at a podium and cited multiple examples of small-business owners who claimed Trump’s companies didn’t pay them for work, presumably through filing for bankruptcy.

“Trump’s policies make him a danger to our economy, and if his business record is any indication, and if his business record is any indication, he would put himself above the needs of hardworking Americans”, Wasserman Schultz said.
Appearing on MSNBC, Andrea Mitchell said that while Donald Trump “is the most unpopular Republican nominee since we’ve been polling, she comes in second as the most unpopular”.
Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz indicated on Monday that Hillary Clinton’s decision to eschew press conferences in favor of one-on-one interviews isn’t a problem.
“Look at the anti-Semitism that he has clearly demonstrated throughout his candidacy”, Schultz (D-Florida) said, asked by the Post whether she believed anti-Semitism in the party reaches the top of its presidential ticket.
“They have really done absolutely nothing, and made no attempt to appeal to swing voters”, Schultz said during a break Tuesday at the Chocolate Bar, a bistro just a few blocks from the GOP convention site.
“He shared anti-Semitic images on Twitter”, she said.
As the Republicans devote each night to a different theme – jobs, unity, national security and plans to “Make America First Again” – Democrats argue every day they have better ideas, and that Trump is unwilling or unable to meet his goals.
But Democrats are not ready to let go of Trump’s interactions with anti-Semites on social media. “Candidates should know that”.
“I said, ‘Too bad, you should’ve left it up”, Trump said in the quote reposted by The Briefing.

Ryan has endorsed Trump tepidly after wavering for months on his support. Like many other speakers this week, Ryan focused his remarks more on what he depicted as the failures of President Barack Obama and Clinton, Obama’s first term secretary of state.
