Wasserman Schultz Won’t Open Democratic Convention, Booed By Floridians

Bernie Sanders tried to calm tensions among his delegates Monday at the Democratic National Convention but some weren’t in a listening mood, seething over a lengthy primary campaign and a damaging email disclosure. It also came hours after Sanders loyalists heckled Wasserman Schultz at a Florida delegation breakfast – her first appearance since her decision to step down following the release of hacked Democratic Party emails.

It is unclear how many of Bernie supporters will defect since the Vermont senator is still backing Hillary Clinton.
