Arnold Schwarzenegger returns to his Terminator roots in the first clip for NBC’s The New Celebrity Apprentice, where he takes over for original host Donald Trump. “We’re building a new boss”, the narration states as machinery places Schwarzenegger’s face onto a cyborg-looking body.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is ready to get down to business.
“The New Celebrity Apprentice” is due out in January 2017.
“Let’s get down to business”, the actor and former California governor deadpans to the camera after being assembled android-style by a group of automated machines that also light his cigar for him.
The upcoming run will feature contestants including Jersey Shore’s Snooki, Culture Club star Boy George and Housewives of Beverly Hills favourite Kyle Richards. Last year, NBC cut ties with Trump after he made disparaging comments about Mexican immigrants.
Trump’s edition of the long-running program was canned when the 70-year-old threw his name into the presidential race last year.

Earlier this month, Entertainment Weekly asked NBC entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt during the network’s Television Critics Association tour whether Trump might return to the show if he loses his bid for president in November.
