Watch as Frank Ocean releases new track ‘Nikes’

Fulfilling its promise of bringing even more exclusives to its music streaming service, Apple Music has exclusively released Frank Ocean’s new visual album Endless. The video is also a tribute to the late A$AP Yams, Pimp C, and Trayvon Martin, whom Ocean says “looked just like me”.

After much anticipation, influential R&B artist Frank Ocean has made waves with the unveiling of “Endless”, a new visual album, his first in four years. Instead, the visual album is one 45-minute film with all 18 tracks featuring within the film.

Endless features an array of diverse musicians, including Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood, James Blake, Jazmine Sullivan, British R&B vocalist Sampha and producer Arca. He appeared on two songs from Jay Z and Kanye West’s collaborative album, “Watch the Throne”.

Ocean, 28, previously promised that the long-awaited album would drop in July 2015 under the name of “Boys Don’t Cry” in a Tumblr post in April 2015.

The clip comes (hopefully) as a precursor to Frank’s long-waited studio album, which Rolling Stone has reported will arrive sometime this weekend.

After more delays than the Elio Three Wheeler and the mid-engine Corvette put together, singer and obsessive auto nerd Frank Ocean is finally-finally!-back with some new music. Prior to his debut album’s release in 2012, Ocean publicly revealed his first love was a man, an unheard of move at the time for a hip-hop artist.
