Reynolds told Mashable that the “reset time” between games depended on how far through the player got before dying.

Users on Chatroulette were able to control the movements of the real-life person within the first person shooter and guide them on their adventure through the zombie infested church yard and buildings.

An incredibly ambitious British studio called Realm Pictures assembled a cinematic experience for a few lucky strangers on Chatroulette and Omegle. The level is tough, there are hidden items everywhere, and health is scarce.

A video posted on YouTube starts with the game’s main character asking Chatroulette players for help getting out of a locked room.

A lot of people were included behind the scenes to make the game. The environment boasts zombies, real-time sound effects, shotguns, crowbars, button-prompts, and turrets.

You can only see the hands of the faceless actor playing the character in the game, while a voice actor describes the surroundings and actions, along with often amusing quips as the game progresses.

The real life zombie game took about a month to fully develop, and it was a huge hit, with the video amassing over a million views in the first 12 hours it was up.
