Watch Dogs 2’s main character could be this guy

The folks at Nerd Leaks, whose website no longer exists because it got hacked, still retain their Twitter account and have discovered a leak of the new Watch Dogs game, which they’re dubbing Watch Dogs 2.

There is a chance that King means a new main character, as opposed to a replacement for the first game’s protagonist Aiden Pearce. He added various hashtags, one of which was #WatchDogs2. That said, the series’ creative director, Jonathan Morin has said that Ubisoft would be “taking risks” with the sequel.

You shouldn’t judge a book by its cover and he could very well turn out to be an incredible lead character if what you see above is not a model for a random NPC you shoot in the head.

We already know that Watch Dogs 2 is set to launch later this year- Ubisoft are taking a break with their relentless annualization of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, and instead pushing the sequel to their 2014 hit Watch Dogs instead. Maybe we’ll hear more about Watch Dogs 2 during the call to investors.

Ubisoft’s E3 2016 press conference will be held on Monday, June 13. It starts at 1pm PT/4pm ET/9PM UK and will, of course, be live streamed.
