Watch_Dogs 2 Story Trailer Released

We get it Ubisoft, Watch Dogs 2 is all about Silicon Valley and the rise of the tech nerds, but the pretentious hipster trope is so overplayed.

Watch Dogs 2 may be one of this year’s big holiday games, but Ubisoft has remained somewhat vague about what the game is actually about.

That’s pronounced DO-SHAWN, but at first it sounds like DOUCHE-ON.

ctOS is the name of the city-wide operating system that gives the game its central concept: the ability to manipulate a city’s infrastructure and the technology within it. Players are able to create pile-ups by changing traffic lights (to evade the police perhaps), raise and lower bollards, control cars and much more. You can check out the new trailer for the game below, and let us know what you think in the comments section.

The Wrench sends Marcus on a mission to infiltrate a Haum distribution center for a smash-and-grab: hijacking a truck filled with a shipment of pre-order units for Haum 2.0 devices. While the first game wasn’t bad, the story left a lot of players disappointed and the hacking mechanics were repetitive. Between Marcus and his Dedsec crew, there’s a lot more character here than in the first game, and it seems far more willing to take itself less seriously than the game that started the series.

T-Bone is back in Watch Dogs 2, representing the lone memorable characterization represented in the previous game.
