Watch Heineken’s New James Bond Ad

The beer brand will feature in the film with Bond likely to take a swig of a beer in a change from his usual beverage of choice of a martini, shaken not stirred.

As Daniel speeds around the bay his unwitting accomplice is pulled along behind, and is dragged through a wedding party where former Bond villain Herve Villechaize, who played Scaramanga’s evil henchman Nick Nack in the 1974 Bond film, The Man With The Golden Gun makes a cameo as a guest.

A Heineken spokesman then defended that Bond is a man of the world, and so it is not surprising that he might occasionally enjoy a beer. Heineken has been involved with Bond for seven movies, beginning with Tomorrow Never Dies in 1997.

Heineken has released the first advertisement as part of its tie-up with the latest James Bond film, Spectre. “If you look at other campaigns, it is always a man of the world that saves the day [alongside Bond]”, Heineken’s director of global sponsorship Hans Erik Tuijt told the Guardian.

The ad, called “The Chase”, launches September 21 on Facebook, and will be aired on TV and in theaters worldwide 24 hours later, according to Heineken.

For the “Spyfie”, Heineken® has partnered with Urthecast to take ultra HD imagery using its camera on the Deimos satellite, now in orbit 600km above the Earth’s surface.

“Spectre” is the fourth Bond movie that Craig is starring.

Via a relay of technology, Heineken® will create a selfie for the lucky attendees, recruited from around the world, of the brand’s exclusive Spectre screening event in a secret location in early November.
