Watch Jean-Claude Van Damme Storm Out of Australian TV Interview
It was during a chat with breakfast show Sunrise on Thursday (28Jul16) that the veteran actor, nicknamed the “Muscles from Brussels”, had had enough. He began by complaining how the interview was being conducted, appearing annoyed that people were talking behind the cameras. “The question are very boring”, rages Van Damme, with far more emotion than he exhibits in most films. “Yeah, I like Kylie… sorry guys, I can not do this anymore. Let me talk”, the Belgian actor said.

Of course, Van Damme recently admitted to having had a relationship with Kylie Minogue in the ’90s, so it’d make sense that outlets might want to ask him about that… but whatever.
Damn, Jean-Claude Van Damme is not a morning person. Let me talk, it’s good for the people they can hear that, let me talk, let me talk, please. Unfortunately, what should have a been a simple question and answer segment went seriously wrong when the king of martial arts got a little upset with what he was being asked.
“What the f*ck is going on Australia? What the fuck is going on?”
“Those interviews you are giving me on TV right now, they are very boring because the questions are very boring”, he continued. ‘Kylie?’ ‘How’s your training?’ ‘How’s your this?’ ‘How’s your that?’ So, I’m coming to Australia to maybe do something kind of different with the audience.
“I can’t do this, I’m too natural”, Van Damme said at the conclusion of his rant.
Goran Kurkioski, CEO of Fast Track Events which is promoting Jean-Claude’s speaking tour in Sydney and Melbourne, claimed the star was “uncomfortable” in the “overcrowded” studio.
‘There was no air-conditioning, JCVD was hot, sweating and uncomfortable so the media schedule was postponed.
In a video feed from Bangkok – where he is now filming a movie – Jean-Claude could be seen taking off his cap, standing up and removing his microphone.

“Yes, yes, yes. It happened”, he told The Guardian.
