Watch Kanye West’s ‘Fade’ Music Video Starring Teyana Taylor

Pitchfork spoke with “Fade” choreographer and artistic director Jae Blaze to attempt to elucidate her and Kanye’s vision.

And the video is full of baby oil and sheep – oh, and a baby. “We just started talking and I was just rambling and rambling about Iman [Shumpert]”, Taylor told Vogue. For starters, she wants to properly assist others with getting a similar body to the sculpted one she obtained, postpartum.

“Fade” immediately drew comparisons to the stylish 1983 film “Flashdance”. You know, the lioness always protects her baby.

“After having Junie, I learned that if she can put her trust in me, I have to learn to put my trust in others”, she admitted. Her body is awesome. Maybe, just maybe, “Fade” shapes into her defining breakthrough that allows her to move to center stage so she can shine. “To him it was a dope moment to just see love like that, to see that you can really have it all”.

Blaze also clarified the most confusing part of the video, in which Teyana becomes a lioness.

Let me just say, Kim K and Teyana, I think you both give all of us major gym motivation vibes.

Teyana hasn’t only worked in music, the singer has also tried her hand in acting. She has her family. She just had a baby in December 2015 and looked so incredibly awesome in her skintight cutoff halter top and near g-string bottoms shows off her insanely tight figure. Interestingly, it was both the bond between mother and daughter, and artist and protege that allowed her to make peace with showing off her body in such an intimate, vulnerable way. “[Beyoncé] loved it but she wound up not being able to use it because she was pregnant, but back then the world didn’t know”. Of course, Teyana came in with her unlimited set of dance skills that took things to another level. And that’s where she is in her life right now.
