There was also a one-minute standing ovation from the star-studded crowd upon Miranda’s entrance in the opening song, Alexander Hamilton.

Miranda’s closing bow came in front a star-studded audience at New York’s Richard Rodgers Theatre that included Spike Lee, Jennifer Lopez, Aaron Paul, Charlie Rose, Jane Fonda, Rosie O’Donnell and Secretary of State John Kerry.
Miranda wordlessly walked from one side of the marquee to the other, held his left hand over his heart, and then disappeared back into the theater.
According to EntertainmentWeekly, the original cast of Hamilton will have their final bows in NY on Saturday, making way for a new cast to carry the torch as Hamilton looks to conquer the country.
Phillipa Soo (Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton) and ensemble member Ariana DeBose, on Saturday night.
A day after the worst mass shooting in USA history – where 49 people were killed at Latin night at a gay bar in Orlando – Miranda used his acceptance speech at the Tony Awards to pay tribute to the victims, saying, “Remember that hope and love last forever”.
“Good morning! Have your wits about you, it promises to be a bit of a day”, he tweeted. “I will cherish #Hamilton and everyone at the RR Theatre”. Javier Muñoz, who will take over the title role from Miranda, has also been tweeting messages to the departing cast members, with personally addressed videos and his own throwback photographs. “‘Til next time, folks!'”
Those projects include starring in a sequel to “Mary Poppins” alongside Emily Blunt, which will keep him in London for much of next year, and finishing “The Hamilton Mixtape”, an album of “Hamilton” covers and songs inspired by the show.

“I’ve written a role I can not age out of”, Miranda said after the Tonys.
