Another successful tribute she can add to her belt is an uncanny parody of U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump.
She let her red tie hang low as she joined Tony-winner Christine Baranski for a duet from the musical Kiss me Kate.
The song, usually sung by male gangsters in the classic musical, advises men on how to seduce women by reciting Shakespeare.
Well the actress and star of our hearts was a part of the annual Shakespeare in the Park Public Theater Gala in NY on Monday, where she and Christine Baranski performed a duet of Brush Up Your Shakespeare from the musical Kiss Me, Kate.
Streep is a long-time Hillary Clinton supporter – and the feeling is mutual.
Baranski continued: “Brush up your Shakespeare and the women you will wow”.
Meryl Streep proved on Monday night that there’s not a role she won’t tackle.
Baranski, as Clinton, crooned back, “Brush up your Shakespeare and the women you will wow.Just declaim a few lines from Othello, and they’ll think you’re a hell of a fella”.

Streep has showed before that she can transform into anyone from Margaret Thatcher to Lindy Chamberlin without much trouble.
