Watch Nick Saban get upset over an unauthorized biography

Coach Nick Saban felt well enough about the progress of Alabama’s newcomers that he switched up his usual opening-day routine of practicing the veterans and youngsters separately.

Unauthorized biographies. Saban is opposed to unauthorized biographies.

“One of these days when I’m finished coaching at Alabama, I’ll write an authorized book”, Saban said.

“I talked to the best man in his wedding and his college roommates and a golfing buddy, who lives in Birmingham”. “And Terry and I have just worked really hard to extend that through the years and are proud of what we’ve been able to do”. And there won’t be any misinformation, there won’t be any false statements, there won’t be any hearsay, there won’t be any expert analysis from somebody else. It will be the real deal. Trying to preempt questions about the book, Saban said to reporters (speaking as though to children), “So no one needs to ask me because I’m going to tell you to pull it up on your little computer”.

Alabama coach Nick Saban is not a fan of the recent biography that Monte Burke wrote about him. Kelly said. “If you look at that, not even in the national championship scheme but just the way we go all season long, dominate and get to the last game and it’s kind of like everybody’s kind of fallen apart”.

“Kenyan Drake is fine”, Saban said, per a report from Al.com on Friday. Saban finished his news conference with an unprompted rant on the topic. Touted freshmen Daylon Charlet and Calvin Ridley could help, as could Oregon State graduate transfer Richard Mullaney, who missed half of last season with an elbow injury after amassing 52 catches for 788 yards in 2013. A previously-released excerpt of the book detailed the flirtations between Texas and Saban’s agent. “I heard some people saying stuff about broken foot, but it was just rumors”.

A five-star recruit in 2014, Scarbrough suffered a torn ACL in April and was not expected to be ready for the start of the season anyway.
