Watch Sony’s Paris Games Week Conference Right Here

Yoshida ended his VR showcase with the reassuring assertion that over 200 developers were now working with Playstation VR, and also mentioned that since Katsuhiro Harada is such a fan of the technology (Summer Lesson anyone?), Tekken 7 would also be compatible with it… To quote Sony, “Tonight is no time for nostalgia”.

The conference ended with 3 big hits right in a row. Gran Turismo Sport, coming to PS4 in 2016, will feature an extensive multiplayer experience that will cross into the real world thanks to a collaboration with the FIA. This is a more competitive Grand Turismo, where the focus will have you race for your favorite manufacturer and nation.

Also, it singled out an increase in software sales, which consists mainly of games and downloadable content (DLC) from its Games & Networks Services division that includes PlayStation. Most impressive, and interesting has to be Tekken 7.

Meanwhile, Hello Games already shut down a rumor yesterday to confirm that it has no current plans to stealthily release the pretty new exploration title, No Man’s Sky, this week.

It’s based on the Kara tech demo, in which human faces were rendered as close to reality as possible. Oh, and there’s a flying robot ball telling the player what to do, because that’s the thing you do now. If you enjoyed Heavy Rain or Beyond: Two Souls, this is definitely one to keep an eye on.
