Watch the first 6 minutes of The Walking Dead: Michonne
It’s not the first time Telltale has included characters from the wider The Walking Dead universe, although the developer’s main two game seasons have focused on fresh characters. The episode will be available for mobile devices starting February 25. All three episodes will cost $15 “or equivalent”. There does not appear to be an option to purchase episodes individually. Episodes 2 and 3 will launch in March and April respectively.

Episode One: In Too Deep will be releasing on February 23rd for all platforms (except for Android and iOS which get it on February 25th). Michone will be played in-game by Samira Wiley, best known for her performance as Poussey Washington in the Netflix series, Orange is the New Black. Michonne is obviously not in a good place, as she’s haunted by visions of her daughters and old life, but her more pressing concern is the horde of zombies eager to eat her guts. Presumably, the preview ends just before running into her new companions. A signal for help brings them to a scene of a massacre and towards a floating colony called Monroe, which seems to be harbouring the person responsible for the horror. The first and second seasons starring Clementine, along with the 400 Days in-between filler, have sold more than 50 million episodes worldwide.

“The Walking Dead: Michonne” was initially planned for 2015 launch; however, it did not happen due to unknown reasons. The release date information comes directly from the official TellTale Games website.
