Over the last couple of months, as substantial footage and details about The Walking Dead spinoff Fear the Walking Dead have surfaced, the show’s gotten more and more intriguing. Our assumption for now is that the ratings will be decent, but probably not anywhere near the original … and they’ll be fine with that.
We’ve got the first three minutes of ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ to share with you today and in them we get to see our first look at a walker in action!

I absolutely love the pace and vibe that the introduction to the series is giving us. It’s already been renewed for a second season. Judging from the spoiler video released on Facebook today, “Fear The Walking Dead” is going to be just as intense and addictive as its predecessor “The Walking Dead“.
Dickens and Cliff Curtis portray the show’s central pair, a high school counselor and teacher (respectively) who are dating and struggling to merge their families, which include teenage children from previous relationships. This time around however, the world starts going to hell in a Los Angeles church, as Nick (Frank Dillane) discovers his drug buddies in a dire state. “We recently announced that we’re bringing Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May back together to create a hugely anticipated new motoring show exclusively for Prime members, and now we’re excited to add Fear The Walking Dead“. Plus, you know… zombies. The suspense and the fear the audience will have because we know what’s coming.

Nevertheless, AMC is hoping you’ll stick with the show through its slow burn, and today, to heighten the anticipation, they’ve dropped the opening scene from the premiere.
