Lyrically, the song finds The Weeknd taking on his variety of vices, which range from everything from all-night sex to weed, alcohol and hard drugs.
The guitar blazes at the end of the Kanye West co-produced beat as the Weeknd walks to a pricey black ride and drives off into the night. The latter is his most recent single, which features Lana Del Rey’s unique vocals, and the story of two troubling addictions.

Directed by Grant Singer, the clip shows Abel Tesfaye delivering his signature blend of braggadocio and self-hatred while being buried in a shallow grave. The director also has Travi$ Scott’s “Mamacita” and Vic Mensa’s “U Mad” under his belt. If you were anxious that Tesfaye had lost his lecherous edge after placing a few singles near the top of the charts, allow him to reassure you: he’s still “singing ’bout popping pills, fucking bitches, living life so trill”.
