Gooding interrupts during the 1996 film Jerry Maguire for which he won an Academy Award for best supporting actor exclaiming ‘Show me the Money’.

The bit celebrated the many, many films of Tom Cruise’s career, well not all of them, but it was an ambitious 24 movies in just over 8 minutes.

The dynamic duo teamed up to run through the highlights of Cruise’s long and successful film career ahead of the release of Jack Reacher: Never Go Back. Tom Cruise visited couple of shows these days, where he spoke in detail about the process of filming as well as he thanked colleagues for their teamwork. After crossing paths with the law, Reacher must now go on the lam to uncover the truth behind a major government conspiracy that involves the death of USA soldiers. And he even revealed that he has discussed the idea with producer Jerry Bruckheimer. “And we just get to depict that onscreen and have many more people see it and see it as a reality”. He discovers that the military police officer who has taken his old job, Susan Turner (Cobie Smulders), has been arrested for spying. But Never Go Back is so generic that it’s hard to imagine anything about it having come from a clear artistic vision, let alone a series of 20-plus novels with a devoted fan base. The adventures of the lonely ex-military investigator are now set to become a franchise as Cruise reprised the role for the second instalment. Because there’s a sequel to promote, you know.

Asked if he had any plans to reduce the amount of stunts in future films, he said: “I’ll be running til the very last day”. I’ve got to have at least three flights in the F-14.
