Practically everyone was scrambling for their lives during the mid-season premiere. Of course, the cherry on top of this turd sandwich was Ron finally snapping on Rick and Carl. This caused a chaotic chain reaction that led to the death of his mother Jessie (Alexandra Breckenridge) and his brother, Ron (Austin Abrams).
It finally happened – Carl Grimes lost his eye on “The Walking Dead”.
We picked up with Rick’s plan (of everyone camouflaging themselves in walker guts) to get the group through the zombie group that had overtaken Alexandria to be far too much for Sam to handle. Michonne drives her katana through the boy to save them but a shot was sacked and Carl realizes he had been shot straight in his right eye, so looks like some of our midseason premiere deathpredictions from last week turned out to be true – 3 and a half of it. In response, Michonne (Danai Gurira) will kill Ron with her katana.
Checkout our predictions for the upcoming season in Walking Dead Ahead below.
“When he was running through the field, that was the mannequin”, Riggs says with a laugh. A report by DenOfGeeks pointed out that apart from searching for where to stream “The Walking Dead”, the roaring clamor of fans continue on the issue of character death for season 6. At least that’s what I was told, but I didn’t know until just before the beginning of shooting the sixth season, so I didn’t know when I got the job.
“I love that I’ve been doing this for 30 years and we’re six seasons into it and we’re still coming up with fun, cool ways to do gags”, added Nicotero.
We’re sure Negan – the big, bad villain slated to arrive at the end of the season – will have something to say about that. In the past, other TWD cast members purchased property only to find out their characters would die. “I looked at him and I was like ‘What?!’ And he said, ‘I’ll call you on Monday.’ So I sort of left that dinner a little bit devastated”.
The characters that did die this week, though, were surprising choices.
As a result, Jessie and Sam were then devoured by the walkers. “I had some blood around my eye and they didn’t actually have any makeup on my eye until Rick was carrying Carl inside the infirmary”.
“Oh, it was just super sad”. It was perhaps the most heartbreaking thing I’ve witnessed in the series to date.
“People are just very sweet and want a selfie”, he said.

Were you surprised by the big reveal on Sunday’s mid-season premiere? Adapting some of these scenes from the pages of a graphic novel to a cable television show can be a major challenge, but fans and the media need to remember that the source material for this popular show is much more disturbing than the show has been.
