Watch Zac Efron Struggle to Remember ‘High School Musical’ Lyrics
When it came to “Breaking Free”, Zac was a little stuck.

But just because he sang it doesn’t mean he can remember the catchy song’s title.
The actor, 27, was joined by his co-star Emily Ratajkowski and director Max Joseph for their ongoing promotional tour of We Are Your Friends.
It started off quite well as the trio managed to guess Beyonce’s Drunk In Love and Justice’s We Are Your Friends.
While trying to guess intros to songs, Zac Efron proved he doesn’t have a good memory of Troy and Gabriella’s epic love ballad “Breaking Free” from the Disney Channel Original Movie ‘High School Musical.’ Click to WATCH!
However the movie star was well and truly stumped when his Breaking Free anthem was played during an interview with Cosmopolitan to promote his film We Are Your Friends. At one point, the game got nearly awkward when Joseph pointed out the fact that it was Efron’s voice and he was in fact the one singing the song.
To be fair to him, he did recognise that it was from High School Musical.

So while he may not be able to “break free” from this moment, he did redeem himself by correctly guessing “Macarena” right away. Then, none of them could name One Direction’s “Steal My Girl”. “There’s three movies of songs!” “I could sort of see David Hasselhof”, he said.
