Watching Hermine through Labor Day Weekend

While the rains from tropical storm Hermine continue to move into the northern Gulf, we remain dry and cloud free this morning. The humidity will still be low enough to make it still fairly comfortable through most of the day.

If you are going hiking, biking or running…… Dry weather is expected for most areas, with just a slight chance for a coastal shower on Saturday.

Monday presently has the highest risk of a few showers.

This weekend there will be a gradual warming trend through the three days.

Temperatures will still be cooler than normal through the weekend as we will see highs in the upper 70s today and the into the mid-80s by Sunday.

“Motorists are also advised to never drive through flooded roadways or high, standing water, due to the severe threat of your vehicle getting stuck or carried away in the current”, a State Police spokesperson said in a press release.

Behind the front, we will have some very nice weather moving through.

Saturday’s forecast: Sports enthusiasts will enjoy a picture flawless Saturday and mainly dry Sunday. Monday’s outings may need to be canceled or postponed with a high likelihood of at least some wet playing surfaces. Please read my article about caring for you plants during the drought here.
