Waterlogging in Gurgaon hits Dehi-Jaipur route
Rain led to water-logging in many areas.

The police has said that the traffic situation in the city would not improve before noon, IANS reported.
The District Magistrate of Gurgaon has also called all civic officials in the ground under the section of 144 CrPC.
The police Twitter handle tweeted saying, “NH8 Jaipur traffic is completely blocked at HeroHonda Chowk due to flooding in Badshahpur drain and gates of Najafgarh drain closed by Delhi”. Police asked commuters to avoid them if possible.
Gurugram has been facing massive traffic jams since Thursday evening following the rains.
“Total failure of administration in GURGAON, hero Honda chowk standstill from last 3 hrs”, tweeted another commuter, Pradip Agarwal. A few schools however remained open today.
Since Thursday night, the Gurgaon Police had been working to sort of traffic jams caused by waterlogging on the roads and highways.
Around 1 a.m. on Friday, the water level started rising. The scared and stranded people pulled down a part of the divider on Delhi-Gurgaon expressway to escape.
People stuck at the spot lamented that no official, particularly those connected with disaster management, were available to alleviate their miseries.

With more rains expected on Friday, there is no immediate relief in sight for the satellite city which headquarters a number of Fortune 500 companies.
