Watershed moment. Lineker misses Olympics to present MoD in his trousers?
Former England striker Gary Lineker presented the start of Britain’s best-known soccer show wearing only a pair of white shorts, after a bet he made last season about Leicester City’s chances of winning the Premier League.

Lineker vowed to present the BBC highlights show in his pant if Leicester won the title last season, which anyone will tell you they did in incredible fashion. However, he reappeared shortly afterward fully dressed.
They did, of course, meaning Lineker had to go for it.
With hours to go before the former England global appears on live television wearing nothing but a pair of y-fronts, Alan Shearer, one of Lineker’s MOTD colleagues, reminded him (as if he needed to) that tonight was his big night with this, ahem, cheeky tweet.
Lineker was still being coy about it on Friday.
Little did he know, 2016 was set to be a amusing old year, and here we are. “It depends on how cold the studio is”.
His ex Danielle Bux also took the opportunity to mock her former partner and tweeted a mocked up picture of Lineker in a pair of white trousers. “It’s P-Day” followed by a series of tongue-in-cheek responses to other tweeters including John Prescott, the politician, and Paddy McGuinness, the comedian.

On Saturday morning, however, he tweeted: “Bloody hell!”
