Watson, Conner lead preseason all-ACC team

Blanding (So., Virginia Beach, Va.), who was also named to the Bednarik Award, Nagurski Trophy and Jim Thorpe Award Watch Lists, was the ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2014 after finishing the regular season No. 2 in the ACC with 123 tackles, which led the nation’s freshmen.
Bisnowaty, a Fox Chapel alumnus, was a starter the past two seasons. The native of Gainesville, Ga., is one of seven sophomore quarterbacks from around the country on the list.
WR Artavis Scott, So. He had 57 receptions for a team-high 1,030 yards and six touchdowns in 2014. Williams had four 100-yard receiving games, including 9-112 against Oklahoma in the Russell Athletic Bowl.
