Wayne Gretzky and 10 Premier League Misspellings
Tottenham have apologised to National Hockey League legend Wayne Gretzky after misspelling his name on the back of a Spurs shirt.

Tottenham face a race against time to complete fix work on the sections of White Hart Lane that were damaged by Arsenal fans in the wake of Wednesday night’s north London derby ahead of tomorrow’s fixture against Manchester City.
The good news is that Wayne Gretzky was an excellent sport about the whole thing, and took it all in stride.
The club very kindly gave the Canadian star a Spurs shirt with his name on it – except it wasn’t his name at all.
Making matters even worse is Tottenham’s official Twitter account tweeted the photo and used Gretzky’s handle – with the correct spelling, of course – in the (quickly deleted) tweet.

That’s right, the jersey reads “Gretsky” rather than “Gretzky” but number 99 took it all with a grain of salt.
