Tuanzebe came on for the last 10 minutes of United’s 2-0 friendly win over Wigan and was named in the club’s squad for their pre-season tour of China shortly after.
“I think it’s better like that because you can put the effort in and the more you put in the more that comes out of it”.
Fulham have been pushing hard to sign the England U21 worldwide as they prepare to lose Ross McCormack.
All three players were sent out on loan last season to gain first-team experience, and The Telegraph claim that all three players could now be deemed surplus to requirements.
The Portuguese’s arrival has been followed by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly, while a world-record move for Juventus’ Paul Pogba has been mooted.
With the pressure firmly on Mourinho and United to deliver a first title since 2013, Rooney is aware that expectations are high – and particularly for himself.
Speaking at the launch of United’s partnership with Gulf Oil China in Shanghai, Rooney said: “I’m excited for it”.
And Rooney told reporters: “I think you always feel pressure when you play for Manchester United”. “It’s one of, if not the, biggest football club in the world and it is a pleasure to have played for them for them for so long”.
“The signings we’ve made have been fantastic. It’s a big season for us”, he added.

Mourinho has already confirmed that United’s England contingent, who played at the European Championship, will not be playing in China but will tour. Wilson had scorched his way into the heart of many United fans with a double on his Premier League debut in a 3-1 win over Hull City at the end of the 2014-15 season but has since failed to sustain his form.
