West Brom did not disclose a transfer fee in the deal announcement, but Sky Sports said they paid a club-record 13 million pounds (17 million dollars) for the 27-year-old Belgium global.

The Belgium worldwide, 27, scored 25 goals in 119 games for Spurs and has signed a four-year contract at the Hawthorns.

The 27-year-old has been at White Hart Lane for the last three seasons, following his £7million move from FC Twente. Once known as a player who could pop up and give a spark (and a nice goal) at any point, he soon found himself out of favor with Mauricio Pochettino and was dropped from Belgium’s EURO 2016 squad as well.

Chadli becomes The Baggies second permanent signing of the summer transfer window.

“I feel very good to be here”, Chadli said.

The midfielder has signed a four-year deal at The Hawthorns but the fee will soon be eclipsed when West Brom complete an expected £15 million deal for Malaga’s Ignacio Camacho.

“I said last week that these signings all had to be about players who would improve our squad and Nacer does precisely that”, said West Brom boss Tony Pulis.
