In the petition, Sunjay had also accused Karisma of not being a good mother and on this Randhir said, “Everyone knows Karisma has always been a good mother”.

The petition further alleges that Karisma married Sunjay as a rebound after her break up with Abhishek Bachchan and accused her of “failing as a wife, daughter-in-law and as a mother”. “We shall soon give a reply, but the onus is on Sunjay to prove these allegations in the court”, said Karisma’s lawyer Kranti Sathe.
Meanwhile, Karisma’s father Randhir Kapoor came out strongly against his son-in-law and called him a “third class man” and rubbished claims his daughter married him for money. It has been some years that since the couple are fighting in through the legal battle. According to a leading site the recent development says that the Delhi-based industrialist and Lolo’s hubby asserted in a fresh divorce petition filed in Bandra family court that the actress married him just for the money and for the sole objective of living a high end lifestyle.

“She further insisted that her successor would be her sister, Kareena Kapoor, to the exclusion of the petitioner and his side”. Karisma had earlier withdrawn her consent, saying Sunjay failed to comply with the financial commitments mentioned in the consent terms.
