For the upcoming Sherlock Special, British network BBC – who worked with PBS specifically for this special episode – has finally announced the release dates of the special for the USA and United Kingdom and it’s happening on the same day! Tickets presales start on November. 6, and fans can either preorder them through their local theater or Fathom Events.

The series creators Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat co-wrote the special.
The twosome also meet up with old favourites Mrs Hudson (Una Stubbs) and Watson’s wife Mary Morstan (played by Martin Freeman’s real-life partner Amanda Abbington) – and, of course, Sherlock’s infamous deerstalker hat.
According to a report from Cartermatt, “Evidence of Things Not Seen” will continue to plotline of Sherlock dealing with his father but it will also allow the show to revert back to its usual format where Sherlock and Watson team together to help the authorities solve a hard case.
Sherlock: The Abominable Bride will be shown in more than 100 cinemas and participating venues include Picturehouse Cinemas, Odeon, Cineworld and Vue.

Now, I know a lot of people have been really excited about The Abominable Bride, a throwback special set in the 1800s featuring the same characters as Sherlock, just in a different time period.
“Sherlock: The Abominable Bride” will air on January 1, 2016 at 9 p.m. on PBS.
The special will notably see Holmes and Watson return to their Victorian roots, as the show trades its modern-day setting for a late 19 century timeframe more in keeping with Arthur Conan Doyle’s original stories. “Victorian era gives us a chance to do a creepy one, a scary one”.

So far both actors have been busy but it has been confirmed that they will proceed with production of the fourth season of “Sherlock”, which is said to begin in early 2016.
