WEATHER – Cloudy with snow showers. High 33F

In general, quiet weather will dominate the next 8 days other than windy conditions to start the week and a chance for scattered snow showers today. Keep in mind we use this data to help make our snowfall forecast…I will show you our snow forecast at the very end of this blog.

Tonight winds won’t be as strong but will continue to stay breezy with gusts around 25 miles per hour that will continue into Tuesday. Tonight’s lows bottom out in the upper 20s, near 30.

Temperatures on Monday morning will be in the mid 30s, but they won’t climb much, only to around 40 at best during the day. There is also a chance for snow showers or flurries as temperatures drop closer to the freezing point Monday evening. The weekend brings some of the coldest air we’ve seen so far this season. Clouds have built in through the day and we’ll see a mostly cloudy sky overnight. Continuing periods of snow are a good bet, especially north and northeast of the District. A few flurries or snow showers possible.

The Cleveland area is off to a mild start this morning, but the forecast offers a rather unpleasant mix for most of the day. Wind chill values during these mornings will easily be in the single digits. Mostly clear and cold and lows in the mid to low 30s.

Cloudy skies with a little bit of rain and snow hugging the east side of Metro Detroit and Southern Ontario. Light snow is expected during the evening, so roads will be slippery and possibly snow covered.
