Weather forecast: Heat expected to return with temperatures reaching 26 degrees
The early part of the week will be sunny and pleasant, according to the National Weather’s Service’s latest forecast, and it will be a ideal time for one final summer family outing or to take advantage of the annual tax-free back-to-school shopping week. If you open up the windows you may end up reaching for an extra blanket!

Canadian high pressure remains in control of our weather, making for another comfortable and sunny day.
A Met Office spokesman said: “By mid-week it is likely we’ll see a warming trend, at least in the south and southeast”. Then the humidity joins the party late-week.
Tuesday will be sunny, with a high near 89 and a light and variable wind at five to 10 miles per hour becoming south southwest in the afternoon.
Wednesday: Sunny, warmer, but still low humidity.
Tuesday: Sunny skies with temperatures in the high 70s.
Today: Mostly sunny, low humidity.

Saturday night: Mostly clear with lows in the lower 70s. Afternoon high temperatures are in the middle 80s.
