Weather: Mostly sunny today with highs of about 70 degrees
With mainly clear skies and calm winds, it’s the coldest morning of the season so far! Most high temps across the state will be in the 65-70 degree range.

Columbus Day will also be sunny with a high near 75. This front will squeeze out a few showers overnight Monday, but the total rainfall won’t be too significant. Behind the front, there may be a few afternoon clearing.
I’m forecasting a high of 72 for Springfield.
Wednesday it should be sunny with temperatures in the low 70s. Cooler air arrives Thursday and Friday with highs near 60.
A cold front will pass through the area at the beginning of the work week. This will keep temperatures in check holding highs in the upper 50s possibly reaching 60 degrees.

And Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high near 56.
