WEATHER: Temperatures expected to rise – to summer normal
Sunshine and mild temperatures are expected Tuesday and winds should be calmer than earlier in the week.

Monday’s temperature could hit a high of 86 degrees, with mostly sunny skies and a south wind of 5 to 15 miles per hour.
The chance of showers and possible thunderstorms is 40 percent Wednesday and Wednesday evening, and 30 percent Thursday.
Expect sunny skies to prevail all day as temperatures climb into the low 80s. West winds up to 14 miles per hour are expected.
Temperatures will stay near 100 for the next few days, and heat index values will continue to stay above 100, with chances for rain remaining slim.
Regardless, the humidity returns on Saturday and remains through the beginning of next week with temperatures in the upper 80s to around 90. West winds will hover around 11 miles per hour.

There is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms until about midnight Wednesday night.
