If you’re an Android fan but like the look of the 3D Touch feature on the iPhone 6S you’ve pretty much been out of luck so far, as the only Android phone to offer anything similar is the Huawei Mate S. The beta version was testing for the 3D Touch feature on iPhone 6S, extra Bluetooth keyboard shortcuts amongst other new features.
While Apple is not known for keeping its devices more than two years old, the iPhone 5S appears to be an exception since it is still being sold in countries outside of the US. So not only will you see what a press can do – you’ll feel it.

Kuo adds that the iPad Air 3 will not be having the 3D Touch feature because of “production issues within Apple’s supply chain”. Apple only recently introduced this kind of pressure-sensitive functionality this year – first in the Apple Watch and the new MacBook (known as “Force Touch” on those devices) released towards the beginning of the year, and now in the iPhone 6S. Hence, users can now compose emails, create events, and access other information just with a strong tap via the app’s icon on Home screen.
