Highs top out in the upper 30s by the afternoon with a few more clouds. We’ll close out the workweek with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Outside of the immediate metro, the air was even colder. Highs: Near 40 to low 40s.
Wednesday: Partly to mostly cloudy with afternoon temperatures near 60. Otherwise, Thursday should be a mostly to partly sunny day, with relatively mild temperatures in the lower to mid 40s. Expect daytime highs to mainly be in the 50s.
Late Friday and into Saturday morning a storm will approach from the south, and it may bring us a wintry mess in parts of the state. Rain looks most likely between midnight Saturday morning and noon Saturday. Plenty of afternoon sunshine will help temperature rise into the mid-30s.
SUNDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies continue with an overnight low temperature of 19 degrees. It will get back down to the upper 20s by Monday morning.
