Wednesday’s Weather: Cool, cloudy with scattered showers. Highs in the low 70s

Highs will be in the upper 60s north and upper 70s south.

There is an 80 percent chance of showers today and possibly a thunderstorm after 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.

It’s not just Metro Vancouver getting the cooler, cloudier weather – most of the province will be under the influence of this low pressure system. But another round of showers and thunderstorms will be possible by the late afternoon to early evening hours.

Tuesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

NIGHT: Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming partly cloudy.

Saturday: A chance of showers.

Highs this weekend will stay in the lower and middle 80s before spiking to close to 90 degrees later next week.

We’ll remain in the lower to mid-70s Monday and Tuesday.

Thursday features nearly a repeat forecast as Wednesday: isolated showers, light winds, partly sunny skies, and high temperatures in the upper 60s to around 70.

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 71. Highs will be in the upper 60s. We’ll begin to clear back out for Friday with some clouds, but few chances for showers. Winds are from the north at around 10 miles per hour.

More than a half-inch of rainfall is possible throughout the midstate on Saturday, forecasters said.

Thursday… Partly cloudy. A chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 87. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Despite the clouds temperatures will warm into the low 80s by the afternoon. Mostly cloudy with a high near 69.

Wed: High: 85 Low: 66 Decreasing clouds. Winds: Southeast 5-12 miles per hour.
