Week 4 Add/Drops before Waiver Wire Wednesday

Should Jordan Howard be on the top of your wish list when it comes to the waiver wire? Crowder is somehow only owned in 11.1 percent. It could also be that he isn’t as good as we thought he would be in this offense.

If you have Carolina’s Greg Olsen, you’re playing him and will reap the benefits this week against Atlanta.

I’m renaming this section. Instead, we’ll focus on quarterback streamers from now on.

Start ’em: Joe Flacco vs.

The Coates play was based primarily on the fact that I was banking on him breaking down the Eagles secondary for a deep bomb and score.

Trevor Siemian, DEN – Siemian… is… good? Crowell is the better standard scoring play, and Johnson in PPR. Cooper has scored just single digit points in each of the first two weeks, but did manage to score 15 fantasy points against a very weak Saints defense in week 1.

Putting the wrong player in your lineup is nearly as harmful as not benching your bye week players. Langford has always been ineffective, only piling up numbers thanks to a high volume of touches. Jeremy Langford is out for multiple weeks, and Howard showed what he was capable of in limited action against the Dallas Cowboys.

The Jets defense has stymied opposing running backs this season. The Chargers have allowed 21.7 FPPG to running backs on NFL.com with more than 400 total yards, including more than 200 receiving, and four touchdowns. Emmanuel Sanders had the better game in Week 3, but Thomas may be the more reliable option. Not to mention, both of their defenses can go completely missing for entire quarters at a time. Start any Dolphins’ RB this week at your own risk.

Isaiah Crowell – This Browns-Redskins game should be a shootout. Look for Chris Ivory to get on track this week, which makes him a sneaky start in Week 4.

Kenneth Dixon, BAL – If you didn’t learn from Howard, learn from my repeating the importance of stashing upside running backs. Even though he hasn’t scored this season, I believe that will all change this week when he plays the Baltimore Ravens. They were near last for most of 2015.

Pryor is still available in 72.2 percent of ESPN leagues. Josh Gordon is coming back next week, when Pryor won’t be defense’s focal point but will still have a freakish size-speed ratio for the Browns to continue leaning on in different ways.

“Williams is emerging as the Chargers” best receiving weapon. The Cardinals will host the Los Angeles Rams, who employ a mistake-prone quarterback in Case Keenum this season. This game figures to be dominated by Andrew Luck and T.Y. Hilton but not as talented, which is why he’s not an automatic WR2 with Donte Moncrief out. In this column, I am your sweat-stained, coveralls-wearing moving guy, and we’re here to load your lineup with the best wide receivers this week. In PPR formats, Whittaker will be a solid addition.

Jamison Crowder, WR, Washington Redskins – Has emerged as a consistent flex option each week, with 185 yards and two touchdowns on 16 catches through three games.

Kevin White – The Bears second-year wideout is starting to pick it up. The time for caution with Carson Wentz and Dak Prescott has passed, though.

Adam Humphries, TB – It’s time to stop ignoring Humphries.

Matt Ryan is fantasy’s No. 1 QB after three weeks of play, but after these next three weeks, it wouldn’t surprise me if he fell all the way out of the top 10 at his position.

Giovani Bernard (Bengals RB) The Bengals have only given Bernard five carries in each of his first three games this season, which isn’t much to built a fantasy football resume on. New Orleans is going to become the defense you stream players against. It used to be Cadillac Williams, and that wasn’t an inspiring goal.

With Willie Snead banged up, rookie wide receiver Michael Thomas caught seven passes for the Saints on Monday night against the Falcons, including a touchdown. If Graham is anywhere near his former self, we could have a TE1 on our hands. Pitta fits that mold and he did deliver a decent game of 42 yards on six passes (8 targets), but he failed to reach the end zone for the third-straight week. Just needs to be healthy.

With Brian Hoyer under center, Miller was the leading receiver for Chicago.
