Week 4 Fantasy Football PPR Sleepers

The Giants have given up three TDs in the first three weeks and at least six catches and 60 yards to TEs. What else do you need to know? Three games stood out above the rest, making this week one to remember. This is where you can make a few serious bank in GPPs.

Maclin put up great numbers in Week 3, but his inconsistency and the Chiefs run-first mantra is something fantasy owners should take into consideration in Week 4. His history has been about as inconsistent as his season numbers are, but Phillip Rivers has targeted him 37 times and that will boost your value like a cup of joe. Carolina faces a Tampa Bay defense that has watched teams score a touchdown in nearly 89 percent of their red-zone tries, giving up seven points in eight of those nine opportunities. Let’s just hope the Luck continues. There was no stopping Green in this one. Smith recorded 13 receptions for 186 receiving yards, and 2 touchdowns. No, that title belongs to one A.J.

Player of the gjame: AJ Green.

Andy Dalton’s stock is rising, but that memo comes with a warning. Stick with this kid, he is something special. His speed is already very well-known among defenses, but his strength in breaking off two tackles was especially impressive. Fans held their collective breath as Big Ben, famous for playing through sprained ankles and cracked ribs, cringed in intense pain, crumpled on the ground. But I love what they did with Peyton and the offense out of the pistol rather than under center this week. Buffalo has given up the ninth fewest fantasy points to running backs this season. Murray has played 68.7% of Oakland’s snaps this year, and has played three-quarters of the team’s snaps over the last two weeks. This week, I think he does it. That goes double against a struggling 49ers secondary that has allowed four touchdowns to wide receivers over the last two weeks. This defense also hadn’t faced a high-powered offense as loaded as Atlanta’s offense.

Analysis: Besting Joseph Randle’s performance in the Cowboys-Falcons matchup was Randle’s opposing counterpart, Devonta Freeman. He was looked to a lot more in the game because the Dolphins were done by a lot for the majority of the game. It is hard to start back up RB’s when you don’t know if they are going to get to play, see John Starks from week #3. Boy, did he?! He racked up 141 yards and three touchdowns. Mr. Julio (No-One-Can-Stop-Me) Jones finished with 12 receptions for 164 yards and 2 touchdowns. If Chris Ivory being activated last Sunday and then receiving all of zero carries is any indication, this is situation which will have fantasy players sweating all weekend. That’s when he played the greatest half in the history of fantasy football – and it wasn’t even his best game that year. He now has more interceptions than touchdowns. Wilson will not just complete safe passes for positive yardage, but he will have a field day running the ball as well. Quarterback Andrew Luck potentially missing the first game of his career also throws Gore owners into further turmoil. However, Mariota wasn’t done yet. However, Tennessee came away empty-handed in the two-point conversion, falling just short of a victory. He could see a bigger role in Week 4 and begin to stake his claim for more touches going forward, as well. I’m sure many people would say something like “everyone scores sometimes” or “even the worst teams can be good occasionally”, but sometimes, watching the mighty fall is just too real to ignore. In a high-scoring game, a balance of running/passing is key, both of which the Titans didn’t execute well enough.

CJ2K is finally looking like his old self again.

A buddy of mine has three fantasy teams going simultaneously. They can do leagues for $1, or even free ones.

Yesterday, daily fantasy sports inched closer to being fully integrated into the NFL Borg when leading DFS site DraftKings and the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) announced a licensing agreement that will allow for National Football League players to appear in DraftKings marketing campaigns.

The NFLPA, which declined to comment on the size of the deal with DraftKings, has become newly aggressive marketing its players.
