The man – who has not been named – 34, from Welling, was arrested this morning on the suspicion of attempted criminal damage and violent disorder.
This is their third season back in England’s top division, and their sixth season of using a bald eagle by the name of Kayla as a mascot to help live up to the team’s “Eagles” nickname.
For attempting. To punch.
But she encountered trouble prior to the Capital One Cup clash with Charlton Athletic in September. “Crystal Palace fans were also involved after the game”, said Collin.
In a series of raids in London and Kent on Wednesday, police arrested six men in connection with disorder both inside and outside the ground.
Officers from Croydon are continuing to investigate the unsavory scenes that apparently took place before, during and after the 4-1 win for the Barclays Premier League club, Scotland Yard said.
