Wenger asks fans not to protest during Leicester game
The Premier League’s current top four, Leicester City, Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham, all play each other this Sunday on a weekend that could go a long way to deciding the destination of the title.

Leicester’s awesome tilt is turning doubters into believers and the convincing 3-1 defeat of Manchester City in its last league outing led to it being installed as title favourite by the bookmakers.
Arsene Wenger has called on both Leicester and Arsenal fans to cancel any in-game protests on Sunday after the late change to the kick-off time angered supporters – but has defended Barclays Premier League ticket pricing. With Chelsea and Manchester United having a bad season and City playing not very convincing this is Arsenal’s chance to bring home the title they have been waiting for more than a decade. So I phoned Mitchell to tell him. “We just continue to dream”.
After Manchester City’s failure, this weekend it is Arsenal’s turn to try to stop the Leicester City juggernaut from running away with things at the top of the Premier League.
Leicester’s victory at City was a masterclass in the counter-attacking approach that has become their calling card, with Robert Huth’s third-minute opener allowing them to play on the break before adding further goals through Riyad Mahrez and Huth.
They beat the drop last term by winning seven of their last nine games and were widely tipped for relegation at the start of the season. He will be expected to provide against a tough Spurs defence he knows how to break down, with ten goals in his last eight against them. I didn’t think he would be able to continue their momentum that Nigel Pearson had created, but that is what makes football such a lovely, wonderful game.
“But in England because of the quality of the teams, because every team has the money to buy players – and they have bought players – the difference in the Premier League between the clubs in level is not so high”.
“The so-called bigger teams will have to re-analyse how they go about buying players”.

Sunderland also rank second bottom when it comes to shots per game in the other direction which suggests this could be a cagey game if United don’t score early. They say, “OK, Leicester – sooner or later – will go down”. They’ve got themselves into a great position in the league and I’ve not seen them this confident since they qualified for the Champions League.
