Wenger ‘concerned’ over injuries with Bellerin out
Arsene Wenger has admitted he did not know whether to laugh or cry when he discovered last season that Harry Kane had been on Arsenal’s books as an eight-year-old.

In his post-match presser after losing 5-1 to Bayern Munich at Allianz Arena in Germany on Wednesday, Wenger said though the chances of qualification are minimal, he is sure his side will put up a great performance to go through.
Former Arsenal star Robert Pires believes Arsene Wenger’s men have “a lot of ingredients” to win the Premier League title. After a diabolical start to the Champions League group Arsenal constructed a home win over Bayern, which may yet be crucial going into the last tie at Olympiakos.
“Many will expect them to fold when the pressure is on and I do worry about Per Mertesacker in the centre of their defence”. “From one competition to the other”.
Cech is looking forward to his first north London derby since joining Arsenal and believes the importance of game has been heightened because both teams have something to gain if they win all three points tomorrow. I have no doubt that Arsenal will end their unbeaten record, just as they did against Leicester, Man United and Bayern Munich.
“He gives leadership because he is a leader on the pitch, he talks, he is brilliant intellectually, his analysis capacity is very strong, he is highly focused”.
One of the reasons his players usually respond to setbacks is that Wenger strives to maintain an atmosphere of calm.
Wenger was the only manager across Europe’s top five leagues not to sign an outfield player in the summer transfer window but he remains delighted with improving his goalkeeping department.
“Of course it was a disappointing result on Wednesday night, but before that we did extremely well in the Premier League”, he said.
But veteran goalkeeper Cech knows they have a chance to erase those painful memories when they return to Premier League action against arch rivals Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday. This is what I want now.

Speaking after Spurs hard fought 2-1 Europa League victory over Belgian outfit RSC Anderlecht, the 43-year-old Argentine boss stated: “We arrive in very good form”. You win two games, and we need to make sure the head-to-head against Olympiakos is in our favour, and then we can go through.
