Wenger in no rush to sort new Gunners’ deals
A report in the Daily Mirror claimed Sanchez is on the brink of being tied down to a new five-year deal that will see him pocket £150,000-a-week.

However, much to the dismay of Wenger and the rest of the Arsenal FC fans, Sanchez started the game, which Uruguay won 3-0.
Club captain Mikel Arteta has heaped praise on both Alexis and Özil.
“Of course, we want them to stay at the club, but there is still time”, the Arsenal boss said at a news conference. You can see that we function well as a team.
“There is still lot of work for us and we now we need to play our best every week, but if we will believe we can beat other teams then nothing is impossible”. It is understood the club are hopeful of getting them both signed up and they aim to make a joint announcement, which would be a massive lift for their title push.
Ozil joined Arsenal from Real Madrid in a £42 million deal in 2013, on a £140,000 a week pay. He has already been part of an FA Cup-winning side and is hoping to help them maintain a title challenge this season.
In Bellerin’s opinion Ozil is the most intelligent player he has played with and his vision on the pitch is really unbelievable.
Aaron Ramsey, Theo Walcott and Alex Oxalde-Chamberlain have all been ruled out while Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky and Danny Welbeck are long-term absentees. “Yes, the difference is that today we are in a stronger position to negotiate than we were at that stage”.
“The only disappointing thing is the injuries”.
The 26-year-old Alexis Sanchez is now earning £130,000-a-week since he arrived with his big money contract from Barcelona.

The Uruguay striker has always been a player linked with a move to the Premier League with Arsenal never far from his name, but the Gunners have never seriously followed up interest with a genuine bid.
