Wenger On Arsenal Changes: “It Didn’t Work”
Theo Walcott has challenged Arsenal to put their nightmare Champions League trip to Dinamo Zagreb behind them by returning to form against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

“Well now they will maybe respect us a little bit more next time“.
Arsenal have been drawn in the same group as Bayern Munich, thus making it extremely hard to finish in top spot. “If we produce our performances we want at home“.
Chelsea have suffered defeat in three of the first five games in the league.
The hosts doubled their lead through a powerful header by Junior Fernandes.
Wenger was livid with referee Ovidiu Hategan after the game. “We are on a good run in the Premier League and it’s important now to look at that”. Giroud’s sending off was extremely harsh for me, and changed the complexion of the match entirely.
Olivier Giroud had a nightmare of an evening, missing several decent chances before picking up two unnecessary yellow cards to leave his side battling on with ten men.
“Yes, he (the referee) was rash (with the second yellow card)”. It was accidental completely, but it happened. “I don’t understand why they publish that story because I have always been happy at the club”, he added. It has to be a foul on goal and it was not on objective .
Per Mertesacker has returned to training for Arsenal this week, but Wenger is yet to decide whether he will recall the German to the starting line-up against Chelsea. The second goal was owing to some lacklustre defending from a set-piece and the Gunners were lucky not to be further behind as they failed to hold fort at the back for a major part of the game.
The former Germany worldwide said: “Petr is one of the greatest goalkeepers ever, so I think that was a really good purchase by Arsenal“.
‘But then I started to worry around that period of the game when Arteta and Santi Cazorla slowed it down and a leisurely, bad slowness crept into their play.

The Brazilian has had a wonderful start to his Arsenal career, as he is beginning to build a strong relationship with Koscielny, who is arguably one of the best defenders in Europe.
