The Paris Saint-Germain striker has been linked with a move to the Premier League when his contract runs out in the summer, with many seeing Ibra as the solution to the Gunners’ troubles in front of goal.
This report said he would set them back £250,000 a week in wages and Wenger was interest in the Swedish global as he was “on his hit list” but when questioned about this in his pre-match press conference ahead of the weekend games the Arsenal boss played down an interest.
“Look, at the moment, no. We are not on that case”.
“I would say [at the moment] we have to go step by step”.
Ibrahimovic’s age would only make him a short-term solution, but his prolific strike rate and winning mentality would make him a phenomenal signing for any Premier League team this summer, so Wenger shouldn’t pass up the opportunity to recruit him.
‘Where we are at the moment is short term.

At the moment, no we are not thinking of signing anybody”. His finishing is better, his technical is better. It’s always a sign when the numbers are better year after year.
