Wenger reacts as Arsenal’s handball seconds before whistle brings controversial EPL win
The goal was not without its fair share of controversy – debate continues to rage as to whether or not it should have stood having clearly struck the French defender’s arm on the way in.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger celebrates after the game against Burnley on October 2, 2016.
Since making his debut about a month ago in the Premier League win over Southampton though, Mustafi has been an ever present and has nailed his place down with some fine performances and a growing understanding with our French global centre back Laurent Koscielny.
Arsene Wenger responded to claims that Laurent Koscielny’s late goal against Burnley was handball in the most Arsene Wenger way possible.
“It was all about coming here and giving everything”, the £35million summer signing from Valencia told Arsenal’s official website.
“When you come back here, you know what it is like to play football back in years past”.
“It was a hard game, I felt that we had the merit not to concede, to be patient, keep going, against a team who were well organised and played very well with full spirit. So when you have any opportunity to get a bit closer you have to not miss it”.
“When we have good movement, with the quality and speed of our passing and when it is on a high level, we can be a danger in every situation”, Koscielny said.
“We really wanted to win, we knew it could be a good week for us”.
Shkodran Mustafi believes the win against Burnley could be crucial for Arsenal’s title hopes.
Burnley went even closer five minutes later as Micheal Keane rattled the cross with a towering header with Petr Cech well beaten.
“That’s up to Gareth [Southgate]”, Dyche said.
‘I want to give him back that, but I’m not the only example, there have been many.
“I keep saying that it’s important that we fight until the end”.
BEN Mee insists Burnley will take a lot of positives from their cruel defeat to Arsenal at Turf Moor.
