Wenger savours win after testing week for Arsenal
Hello fellow fine Gooners around the globe! When you play 11 against 10, it is of course not the same mentally and psychologically but we remained serious and in the end we won the game in a convincing way. Why the no striker? I don’t know why it did not happen; we have [a] pecking order, it was not planned for Sanchez to take it.

“We are ambitious and have a good attitude and spirit”.
Forward Alexis Sanchez set an unwanted record on Saturday as he became the first Arsenal player to miss his first two penalties for the club. The second missed out of 4 this season.
“In the last two games we were behind and came back into it”.
“Santi was down to take it”, he told the BBC.
Arsenal went back on the attack and the ever-lively Walcott crossed for Francis Coquelin, whose shot was blocked by the hand of Livermore in the box for a straight red card. He was one foul away from seeing red and he still played 15 more minutes.
The victory is Arsenal’s seventh in eight games against the Tigers, and Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will have been pleased to see his side dominate and pick up their third Premier League win on the bounce.
“I felt that we played the last 20 minutes without too much goal to score”, he said.
And again I think Monreal was struggling with even the little work he had to do. Much better than the Ox has looked so far this season and that backheel was so lovely.
The Arsenal pressure continued and Hull had Jakupovic to thank for keeping them in the game when he made a brilliant save from Iwobi down to his right before Mesut Ozil put the rebound over.
The Gunners started the season with a home defeat to Liverpool and then a draw at Leicester.

We couldn’t beat them previous year when they were bad and I look forward to seeing how Arsene will approach it this time, hopefully we’ll have a striker on the field at least. Seeing the way City destroy teams, I still feel we are miles off them, but we got good results in recent weeks and hopefully we’ll build on them starting with Chelsea next week.
